It is our inheritance from nature, as beings of spirit, a part of the nature that permeates within and around us, an intricate element of the ‘Old Way’- of living the way of the witch as a witch, shaman, edge-walker, hedge-rider, healer, druid, and ultimately comprehensible to the energies of the Shimmer & Shining Folk.
Conversely, the conundrum remains: so long as you are afraid of something, not only can you not claim the power that is your right as a witch or worker of magick, but, also your lack of understanding what being a witch is all about. We traverse the hedges; we know no boundaries nor limit ourselves to the standards of social expectation or acceptance.
Faerie magick consists of three principles WILL+DESIRE+BELIEF, the primordial and illustrated actions of concentration, control and confidence in the activation of energy. Visualization, trance and meditation are the three main active exercises of facilitating communication with the Faerie, the beginnings of our searching.
Remember the Faerie can be quite impish, chaotic, spiteful, when provoked or unprovoked as promptly as they can be harmonious, agreeable, convivial and sociable. This plays part to the second most important factor, never insult Faeries with gifts of money or worldly possession.
